(Highland Park, IL) In a company first, Miggle Toys has granted the request of the Houston EFL to send the very first Houston Texans team ever manufactured to Glenn Hardaway, founder of the HEFL. "This is the greatest thing I could ever imagine and it speaks volumes of the class and character of Miggle Toys in promoting electric football," Hardaway said with delight. "The positive feedback and reaction to this around the nation from other leagues was also outstanding!" Hardaway added. Yes, Glenn, we will be happy to see that you get the very first set of Houston Texans to leave the Miggle Warehouse. Just send your order to my attention, Delayne Landsman, at Miggle Toys and I will follow it up. I will also see that you get your autograph from the "Comish" himself. Good luck with your new league, keep us posted and most of all have fun!

Houston EFL Begins with 3 Coaches!
(Houston, TX) Mark Robin, Donald "Mr. D" Bates, and Glenn Hardaway all met for the first time in Houston to begin a new league, the Houston Electric Football League. Plans call for adopting the Miggle Rules and other items are soon to be discussed and voted on as the new league gets underway. Opening day ceremonies featured Monica's (Glenn's wife) special recipe nachos, and a truly incredible display of Mark Robin's "electric football team museum". Robin showcased hundreds of team uniforms collected over several years. It could very well be the best collection of EFL players in the country!
A scrimmage game was played between Bates' LIONS and Glenn's (Miggle team borrowed from Mark Robin) TEXANS. See HEFL Games page for details.

(Friendswood, TX) Rick Ebel becomes the newest coach to join the Houston Electric Football League. Rick is better known as "Zeus" in EF circles and he will be coaching the Minnesota Vikings in the HEFL. The first Spring Season 2002 game is set for the Vikings tomorrow against Coach Glenn Hardaway's Green Bay Packers. It will be the first road game for the Packers.
