HEFL SEASON 5    2006   Team vs. Team Schedule*
FORFEIT RULE:

Not showing up for a scheduled game will result in a forfeit.  The coach who is present on game day will get credit for a 14-0 win, plus 100 yards rushing and 100 yards passing added to the team statistics.

It is almost impossible to accomodate every coach's availability on game weekends.  This is especially true for out-of-Houston coaches.  No schedule can be perfect with so many coaches who live outside of Houston.  So, here is the deal:

ONLY ONE COACH PRESENT:  The coach who shows up for a scheduled game will get a forfeit win if the game is not played before the next week's games begin on the schedule.  He does not have to accept a make-up game request from the coach who didn't show up.
DOUBLE NO-SHOW:  If both coaches of a game don't show up, a 0-0 forfeit tie will be entered as the score for the forfeit and neither team will receive any yards passing or rushing in the team stats.  No coaches present = total zeros.
REMOVING FORFEITS:  The only way a forfeit game can be erased is if both coaches agree to play a make-up game.  This makeup game may be played at any time both coaches agree upon during the Regular Season.  Weekends where no games are scheduled are ideal for makeup games.  All makeup games MUST be played BEFORE the post season playoff games begin.

Make-Up Games:
Make-Up games in the REGULAR season can be worked out by individual coaches to make sure everyone has the same amount of games in.  The make-up game must be played before the following week's games begin, or a forfeit will be entered.  Coaches may remove a forfeit at any time during the Regular Season by simply playing the game that was scheduled.  Once this is done, report the game to the Commissioner and the forfeit will be removed from the records.  Contact League Commissioner with any questions.
