This was the greatest thrill and honor of my life at age 22, when I had the great fortune to meet my childhood sports hero, Bart Starr! I was a radio sports announcer in 1981, covering the New Orleans Saints for a Baton Rouge station. Bart Starr agreed to let me have an exclusive one-on-one interview with him in the Packer locker room after their game with the Saints. He was kind enough to take a photo with me as well.
